Estelar’s new Madrid-Caracas route with Hi Fly
27 February 2018
Hi Fly has kicked off the new year by entering into an important collaboration with Venezuelan airline Estelar by inaugurating a new route between Caracas and Madrid.
The Spanish capital city was recognized as a key route for Estelar due to its importance as a final destination, as well as a strategic transit hub for passengers, which led the company to expand its operations, consequently adding it to its itinerary. The direct flight to Madrid will facilitate the connection between these two countries and also provide an easier connection between Venezuela and the European continent, since there are not many airlines that fly directly to the South American country.
The flights take place three times a week using a Hi Fly Airbus A340-300 that has been customized accordingly flying Estelar’s logo on its fuselage. The aircraft has a three class configuration transporting 12 passengers in first class, 42 in business and 213 in economy carrying a total of 267 seats.
The operation started on the 4th of January 2018 and is set to continue over the next months.
Estelar is a Venezuelan commercial airline founded in 2009 that currently operates to five domestic cities and six international destinations.
Hi Fly is a European, EU – OPS, FAA approved, EASA and IOSA certified carrier that operates a large fleet of Airbus A330's and A340's, exclusively available for wet lease worldwide. Wet leasing (the supply of aircraft with crew, maintenance and insurance) is Hi Fly's core business, and has been developed with unmatched operational expertise for over a decade.
